Riverland Dubai Zones

Riverland Dubai is divided into four major zones, each depicting a different culture. First we have the Peninsula which is typically British, with 19th century buildings and bridges. Then, there is the India Gate that depicts colorful Bombay life as well as the Boardwalk transports visitors to 1950s America. Lastly, the French Village depicts archetypal French life during the medieval eras. These four zones, which cover an amazing 230,000 square feet, are connected by pedestrian bridges and roads, allowing visitors to effortlessly go from one to the other. The French Village

The French Village will transport you to 16th century Dijon, France, with its cobblestone roads and stone bridges. A functional water wheel across the river can be found in the village's central "town square." You will be accompanied by the sound of classical French music as you travel along the winding roads between olive trees and structured buildings.

Boardwalk

Boardwalk, which leads up to Motiongate, is designed to resemble the 1950s urban American landscape. Boardwalk, with its neon signage, will transport you to an era when Elvis Presley was revered. The Boardwalk is known for its informal diner-style cafes and live music. The interiors of these establishments are also retro in style.

India Gate

India Gate, located near the entrance to Bollywood Park, was created to portray the dynamism of India in the 1920s. The structures were deliberately built to mimic this period in Indian history. The zone's focal point is a massive statue with four henna-decorated arms. India Gate is known for its eateries that specialize in Southern Asian cuisine.

The Peninsula

The Peninsula, located in the heart of Riverland, is designed in the style of industrial 19th century England. The Peninsula is known for its waterside eateries and for being Riverland's sole licenced zone. It also has a large central plaza that stages festivals on a regular basis.

How to ReachBy Metro:You must take the red metro line from Downtown Dubai and change at Ibn Battuta Metro Station to get to Riverland Dubai. From there you can take a RTA bus to reach your destination. This is the most practical method of transportation in Dubai, and it will take approximately 90 minutes to get between the two locations.
